Good Evening, There will be a time adjustment for material drop off for tomorrow. Due to the great participation today, we will be shortening the time tomorrow from 7:30-1:00. If you absolutely cannot make it in during these times, please contact your building level principal for other arrangements. We appreciate your participation in the drop off. This allows us to inventory our materials and go through the electronic devices in preparation for next school year. Elementary age students all have a packet of materials to pick up. Again, all elementary students have materials to pick up and times are again from 7:30-1:00. Thank you!

Good Afternoon. There are a few things for the end of the year as far as school is concerned. We are doing a drop off for materials and school property on Thursday and Friday from 7:30-4:00. Please make sure that all books, library books, and computers are returned. Parking passes need to be returned at this time as well. There will be year-end packets that need to be picked up at Koch School. It would also be helpful if there were a sticky not with the students name and grade were on the materials, but, that is not required. It is sad that this school year was cut short and we are hopeful that we can begin the school year normally this fall. In the event that we cannot, we will re-distribute materials for students again in August. Meal service has been extended through July 31st at this time. We will continue to feed children ages 18 and under through that date at both sites as well as the mobile delivery sites. There will be no meal service on Memorial Day, May, 25th.

Good Afternoon. I know that most of you have heard, but, sadly, I need to inform you that Governor Noem is recommending closing schools for the remainder of the year. The SDHSAA is also cancelling on winter and spring activities at this time as well. We will continue our distance education. Students need to continue to make progress and communicate with your teachers on a regular basis. We will be in communication about future material pickups as well as collecting materials at the end of our regular school year. Distance learning will continue through May 20th. Seniors work will need to be completed by May 15th and all other students by May 20th. Meal service will also continue during this time. There will be no meals on April 10th and the 13th as we were not scheduled to have school on these days. Thank you,

Good afternoon. We have been given direction by the Governor that school will be closed until May 1st. The South Dakota High School Activities Association has suspended all practices and games through May 3rd as well. Here is our current plan: Distance education is set to start on Thursday of this week. Koch Elementary will have pick-up available on Thursday from 7:30-4:00 for instructional packets. Please check the Milbank School District website under the Koch Elementary tab for all learning plans. These will be updated in two week increments. We will plan another pick-up on April 6th for materials. Your child’s specific classroom teacher will be communicating via their preferred communication resource. Middle School Plans Students will be able to access their weekly learning plans by logging into their Google account and see the shared learning plans the teachers have created as well as link on our MS webpage. These plans will be updated regularly at least weekly with expectations, assignments, activities, and due dates. Those who indicated they need a device or a paper copy will be able to pick them up this Thursday at our set pick up times. High School Plans High school students will be receiving an email from their teachers. The students will find all their work on schoology and in some cases Google Docs. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your teacher. Seniors in need of credit recovery will be contacted.
