3 year old screening:
The Milbank School District will be holding a screening for children that were 3 years old by September 1, 2022. This screening will occur at the Milbank Elementary School on Friday, October 14th, 2022. The developmental screening will examine your child's skills in the areas of motor, speech, language, and general knowledge.
The screening sessions will begin at 8:30 am and end at 2:00 pm. If you would like to have your 3 year old screened, please call Peggy at (605)432-5579 to make an appointment. (Sessions generally last less than a hour.)

Bulldog Athletics: JH Bulldog Football schedule on Tuesday, Sept 13, at Sioux Valley is as follows: 4:30 Combined 7/8-Grade game (mostly 8th-grade players) followed by an additional half of football (mostly 7th-Gade players).
Bulldog Athletics: Lady Bulldog Volleyball schedule on Tuesday, Sept 13, is as follows: 4:00 8th-Grade (NO 7th-Grade), 5:15 C, 6:15 JV, 7:30 V. All of the games are in the Armory.

Bulldog Athletics: The All-Sports Meeting is Tuesday, Aug 9th at 7:00 in the theater. The mandatory meeting is for ALL students and parents in grades 7-12 planning to participate in a sport at any time during the school year. The meeting will begin with general Athletic Department information, followed by fall sport-specific meetings.

Field Day Update: we will be moving the location for field day to the bus loop/elementary parking lot. The loop will be open for drop off but will be closed during field day activities. JK families, please park in the unity parking lot and walk to the Kindergarten entrance for pickup. K-2 activities will run from 8:50 - 11:20. Grades 3-5 activities will run from 12:15 to 2:30. Parents attending field day should park in the high school parking lot. Thank you, PPE, for arranging a fun day of activities!

Milbank Elementary Families: just a reminder school will be dismissed at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 3.
Also, please note our last day of school will be Tuesday, May 17, which will be a full day with school dismissing at 3:10 PM.
Attention: The Youth Football Camp will be on May 23rd through May 25th. It will be from 6:00 to 7:30 pm each day. Students will be bringing home sign-up sheets. Contact Coach Thompson for more information and if you have any questions at mick.thompson@k12.sd.us

Bulldog Track & Field: JH track at Britton, scheduled for Monday, April 25, is postponed to Thursday, April 28. The start time for the meet will remain the same.
Bulldog Golf: Monday's (4/25) home girl's golf meet is postponed to Monday, May 2.
DATE CHANGE: We will be hosting 8th grade registration night on April 26th at 6:00 in the high school theater. We invite all current 8th graders and their parents to attend. This meeting will cover the requirements for high school and this will be the time where students are able to register for high school classes.
