Bulldog Track & Field: Today we host the Valley Queen Cheese Invite. Field events begin at 1:00, and the running events start at 2:00.

On Sunday, May 9th, the Milbank High School Seniors will be participating in the annual Baccalaureate services. It will be held in the MHS theater beginning at 6pm. Each graduate will be issued 4 tickets for attendance. If you are interested in a ticket, contact the MHS office at 432-5546 and we will put you on a list for unused tickets.

May 3-7 is Teacher Appreciation Week across South Dakota. Be sure to recognize the extraordinary efforts they have made this year to keep providing our students and your children with a high quality education despite all the unknowns and challenges thrown their way this year! The Middle School will be doing our Smarter Balanced state testing this Tuesday and Wednesday, and then again next Wednesday and Thursday. We will be doing English Language Arts this week and Math next week. Our 8th graders also will be completing the Science test that is required for just 5th, 8th, and 11th graders.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, April 13th and 14th, our Juniors will be taking the State mandated Smarter Balance tests. The following week, April 21st and 22nd, the Juniors will continue and finish the testing. We ask our students to please avoid being gone on those days. The students will be following a different schedule those days but start time-8:15- and end time-3:15 remain the same. It is possible on the 14th and 22nd students could be released a bit early. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Mr. Snaza or Mrs. Rieger at 432-5546.

Milbank vs. Vermillion information for Tuesday night’s SoDak 16 games to be played at the Corn Palace.-Masks will be required to enter the Corn Palace – We will allow open general admission up to 50% capacity. Fans will be asked to leave the facility following their team’s game.-No spectators will be allowed on the floor at any time. Following the game, we will allow 1 person to come onto the floor to take a team picture.-Student sections will be located in the baseline bleachers on their team’s bench end of the floor. Students must be in the bleachers and will not be allowed to stand on the floor.-Games will be streamed at www.MitchellKernels.com/WatchGamesLive or KMSD: https://portal.stretchinternet.com/kmsd/

Tonight, the Bulldog Boys' Basketball Team travels to Groton. The game starts at 7:00. The winner of this game advances to the Sodak 16. Masks are required for all spectators. Adults and students in grades K-5th will need a voucher. Students in grades 6-12 do NOT need a voucher. The school has been allotted 240 vouchers for the game.
