Congratulations to Savanna Osowski who has been chosen by the MHS staff as the October Student of the Month. Savanna is the daughter of Jason and Jennifer Osowski. While in high school, Savanna has been very active in Cross Country, Track, Band and Milbank Area Swim Team. Outside of school, in all of her spare time, Savanna has been a religious education teacher, weekend mass recorder, a cashier at Hartman's Family Foods and a lifeguard at Unity Square. Savanna has pushed herself in the classroom by taking numerous online dual credit classes as she prepares for college. Additional awards and accomplishments include being a member of the National Honor Society, a member of the Perfection Honor Roll throughout high school, the Voice of Democracy essay winner at the local and district level as well as finishing 4th at the state level, Band section leader, Marcher of the Year in Band and Female Powerlifter of the Year. Savanna will be taking her many talents and abilities to college and plans on majoring in Biology or Computer Science for her bachelor's degree and then continue on for a Masters and Doctorate.
