William Karels has been selected as the September Student of the Month at Milbank High School. He is the son of Susan and Jason Karels. During his time at MHS, Will's activity participation has included being a member of the Track and Cross Country teams, the Milbank Area Lions Swim team, MHS Band, MHS Choir, MHS Theater, MHS class president, MHS Student Council, SD State 4-H Ambassador, Grant County 4-H Junior Leaders and the Milbank National Honor Society. In his spare time, Will works as a lifeguard and water safety instructor and is the CEO and Operator of Running with Chisels Woodworking. After graduation, Will plans to attend St. Cloud University and pursue a degree in Technology Education.
