Jonathan DeBoer had an excellent state tournament as he was able to play his way into the final group with a 75 on day one. DeBoer ended up in T9 securing a top ten finish and placing inside the top 25 in back-to-back years.
"The experience gained playing in the final group will only help as Jonathan moves forward in the game," stated Coach Keeton.
Owen Fischer was able to improve ten spots this year with a T44 finish.
"This was a good state tournament for Owen, and I know it will only fuel him on into next year as he tries to crack the top 25," stated Coach Keeton. "The boys and I were treated to some great weather out West for the State A golf meet held at Hart Ranch," remarked Coach Keeton.
With the season coming to an end the boys are already looking forward to next year as Milbank will be the Region 1A host as they will try and secure a spot at the state tournament as a team.
