Good Evening, There will be a time adjustment for material drop off for tomorrow. Due to the great participation today, we will be shortening the time tomorrow from 7:30-1:00. If you absolutely cannot make it in during these times, please contact your building level principal for other arrangements. We appreciate your participation in the drop off. This allows us to inventory our materials and go through the electronic devices in preparation for next school year. Elementary age students all have a packet of materials to pick up. Again, all elementary students have materials to pick up and times are again from 7:30-1:00. Thank you!
Just a reminder that drop off/ pickup is happening today and tomorrow from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm at MS/HS and Koch School. If possible, we'd appreciate if you are able to stop by today since the forecast is calling for rain tomorrow. Thanks!
Good Afternoon. There are a few things for the end of the year as far as school is concerned. We are doing a drop off for materials and school property on Thursday and Friday from 7:30-4:00. Please make sure that all books, library books, and computers are returned. Parking passes need to be returned at this time as well. There will be year-end packets that need to be picked up at Koch School. It would also be helpful if there were a sticky not with the students name and grade were on the materials, but, that is not required. It is sad that this school year was cut short and we are hopeful that we can begin the school year normally this fall. In the event that we cannot, we will re-distribute materials for students again in August. Meal service has been extended through July 31st at this time. We will continue to feed children ages 18 and under through that date at both sites as well as the mobile delivery sites. There will be no meal service on Memorial Day, May, 25th.
Anyone who has pictures of any school clubs or organizations (TATU, cadet teaching, etc.) please send them to email@example.com for the yearbook. Also, anyone who might have tennis, golf, or track-type pictures can send them in as well.

Our staff is working vigorously to begin a distance learning environment for our students. More information will be provided tomorrow. Thank you for responding to the phone calls placed today as an effort to gather information on how to best educate our students during this time of closure. We do not have any new information from Governor Noem at this time. This situation changes hourly, it seems. We will provide more information as it is made available. Another update will be made tomorrow evening on specific information for distance learning. Thank you!
Good Evening, this is superintendent Justin Downes of the Milbank School District. If you have not heard, Governor Noem announced yesterday that we will be suspending school again next week. I want to ensure you that the meal service will continue throughout the duration of the school closure. In addition to the sites in town and the mobile sites, the backpack program has dropped off their supplies at the high school. Our administrative team is working hard to develop a plan for a distance learning effort. We will be making phone calls on Monday to ask about things like internet service and devices available to the students. This will help guide our distance instruction in the case that the closures continue for great lengths of time. We will do our best to update as often as we get information from the Governor. This situation remains very fluid and can change by the hour. We hope that our students and families continue to take steps to protect themselves during this time. Thank you,
