Dear Families, Thank you for your support so far of our annual fall fundraiser. The PPE does many important things for your children, including providing funds for field trip transportation, assemblies, iPads for classrooms, and playground equipment. There’s still time to help, and all orders are due by October 15th. Thanks for having your orders in on time, and thank you for helping our school! Orders are due to be delivered on November 15th. Title Night - Welcome to the Zoo! All families, please join us on Tuesday, October 16th for a great night of zoo math and reading activities. The fifth grade will be serving a roast beef sandwich meal from 4:30-5:30 pm. The meal will be $5.00 for an individual person or $20.00 for a family, and proceeds go the their class trip. The zoo animal activities will take place in the classrooms from 5-6:30 pm. They will be featuring math and reading games about bears, sharks, dinosaurs, dog, and more. come and join us for a fun family night at the Koch School Zoo.

The Milbank School District will be holding a screening for children that were 3 years old by September 1, 2018. This screening will occur at Koch School on Friday, October 19, 2018. The developmental screening will examine your child’s skills in the areas of motor, speech, language, and general knowledge. The screening sessions will begin at 8:30 AM and end at 2:00 PM. If you would like to have your 3 year old screened, please call Peggy Greiner at 432-5579 to make an appointment. Thank you to all who voted in the school bond election today. The motion passed with 71.6% approval. Great turnout with 1121 voters.
Remember to vote tomorrow, Tuesday September 18th, in the school bond election. Polls are open 7 am - 7 pm in the Milbank High School Lobby for rural and city precincts.
